What Makes Trucontain Containment Mats a Better Choice? The containment mat industry has raced to the bottom. Cheaper squishy edges and a layered or laminated product. In many cases, the product is shipped directly from China to your door. Our products are knife-coated. In simple terms, a PVC resin is spread across and permanently fused with the polyester sheet. This means no delamination. We also use a quality closed-cell foam that is not squishy. Why? When the inexpensive foam gets wet, it traps moisture in a bad way and creates the potential for mold and mildew.
TruContain® is available in both the original grade and the TruContain® HD Heavy Duty mat – which weighs 33% more than the original product. New for 2020 TruContain® auto floor mats contain free 3M® Velcro corners and continue to include the squeegee head.

While competitors are making their containment mats thinner and using the term HD to describe them, our original TruContain mat remains at its’ original weight. By popular demand, we launched the TruContain HD mat for people who live in Canada, Alaska, and parts of the continental US where having gravel stuck in the tires is common. While it is more expensive it is also 1/3rd heavier and outlasts our standard product and the competition.
In addition to being heavier, the wider TruContain mats are often preferred by customers who have wider vehicles or live on gravel roads. The heavier mat also relaxes faster than the original TruContain because of its’ weight.

Just have to say…your mat is awesome. I know I told you it was good but it really has been a relief. I have a 1 car garage and live in Buffalo. The snow, sludge for the last few months had made the kids and I miserable. It would soak the garage floor, everything that was in it, and we always had to put boots on just to run into the garage to grab something, track through deep water and then bring it in the house… The mat contains it ALL now and we just know to walk around the mat to get whatever we need. The best part, we can just go in the garage in our socks and also it’s not tracked all through the house… Again, love the product, thanks. I have recommended this already to everyone I know that parks in their garage and doesn’t have a drain like they should…(which seems no one up here does have a drain in their garage)…
